Kitten love: Cat pawrents rescue a stray girl cat, and while they try to find her a new home, their boy cat chooses to keep her furever with them

A couple found an abandoned stray cat all alone; they took her with them while they sought a home for her, but instead, their previous cat decided that he wanted her to stay with them forever, and the pawrents had no choice but to keep her.

Epic love stories don't belong only in the human realm, and if you don't believe it, that's because you haven't seen these cats!

Sometimes we wonder whether animals have feelings or if they are just responding to their instincts. By now, I believe it's fair to say that they actually, in fact, feel things and are more than capable of experiencing attachment, tenderness, and love. They love us, in the first place. They keep us company, seek us when we're gone, and turn us into their safe place when they feel scared. If they are capable of loving us, they are definitely capable of loving and establishing a bond with each other as well, which is exactly what happened with these kitties. They found each other randomly, and decided they were made for each other. If the same thing happens to a friend of ours, we call it fate, so in this case, fate was playing its hand at bringing two feline lives together that obviously needed each other. And guess what? It worked wonders! If anyone has the chance to talk to Fate more often than I do, please tell them they did a great job with this one, and they should try it more often.

This orange cat knew what he wanted and was more certain than many silly hoomans out there. He sensed her, he saw her, and he decided he wanted to keep her. If only humans were so secure and sure of themselves and what they wanted, people would be dating a lot more than they are. The goal in life is to find someone who is as sure that they want to spend the rest of their lives with you as this cat is. This feline has more emotional depth and maturity than a good deal of people that I've met in my life. He looks at her like she's his home, and it couldn't be sweeter.

When you look at these photos and know a little bit more about them, it's inevitable to think that they were destined to find each other. Some people say that, sometimes in life, you have to go through a rough patch before finding that one thing that will heal you and make you happy, and it definitely seems like that was the case for them, especially for her.
She was alone, abandoned in the cold; we don't know for how long. She sure was scared, but she kept pushing through. Anyone else could have found her and taken her home, and she would have been happy and protected. But it seems like the universe knew she wasn't meant to be alone with hoomans, and a couple with a loving orange kitty found her and opened the doors of their house for her. They even have fur of the same color! There's no way that this was a simple coincidence. Or maybe it was! We could say that this was serendipity, at least for the couple and their cat. They weren't looking for a new life companion, but they found her nonetheless, and she has made their lives even better.
